What is a Wedding Celebrant? Wedding Celebrants are people in your community who are legally authorized to perform marriage ceremonies. The Celebrant mission is to create a wedding ceremony that reflects your needs, beliefs, cultural background and values.
How is a Celebrant Wedding Ceremony Unique? In a celebrant ceremony, you are empowered. Nothing is imposed on you Instead, in a collaborative process, as your Celebrant, I will guide you in choosing rituals, readings and symbols to fulfill your ideals and vision for your wedding.
You may wish to honor and remember your ancestors during the ceremony, or include rituals from your religious or cultural heritages. If you have children, they can also participate in the ceremony in any number of ways, to reflect that your marriage marks the beginning of a new life, not only for you as a couple, but also for your family.
Who should choose a Celebrant? Anyone & everyone! Whether you are secular, religious, spiritual, nondenominational, part of an interfaith or multicultural couple, or if you simply wish to express yourself in a manner of your own choosing, as a Celebrant, I can help you create a ceremony that respects all that is meaningful to you.
As your celebrant, I will ~ Meet with you at a no-obligation interview to discuss your vision of the ceremony.
~ Interview you to learn your personal story to include in the ceremony, and consult by phone & e-mail until the ceremony is just right
~ Interview family & friends and include their words in the ceremony, if you wish.
~ Rehearse ceremony with you at your venue, if you wish.

Your wedding ceremony should be personal, reflecting who you are as individuals, and as a couple. To accomplish this, as your officiant, I will take the time to understand your beliefs, your values and what makes your bond unique. No two Celebrant ceremonies are alike!

Seek out a Ceremony Specialist Celebrants are ceremony specialists who have a sound background in the history of ritual, ceremony, and wedding traditions in many cultures and religions. I have the ability to guide and direct the wedding party, and experience in ceremonial public speaking.
Your Ceremony will be Tailor-Made for You As your celebrant, I will collaborate with you every step of the way so that the ceremony is tailor-made for you. In order to really learn about who you are as a couple, I will interview you and those people who will be important in the ceremony.
Look for Full Service Celebrants do much more than simply show up to read your ceremony. I will coordinate my services with your wedding professionals to ensure that music, photography, videography and your venue are aware of all aspects of your ceremony, and last-minute details are in order.
